FOTTC: Faculty Online Technology Training Consortium: http://www.mdfaconline.org
The web site of the MHEC-funded faculty training and development project. The grant involoves partnership of 20 Maryland institutions representing the members of the Maryland Community College Teleconsortium and MarylandOnline. Its goal is to increase instructional technology training opportunities for faculty in the state.

Cable Green of the Council of Ohio Colleges of Pharmacy and Ohio State Univeristy explores research and literature reviews of on-line learning, philosophies, theory and pedagogy of various instructional strategies, the development and design of  an on-line course, tutorials for instructors to learn how to
create and teach in an on-line learning environment, and how to assess and evaluate your course.

Implementing the Seven Principles: Technology as Lever

Originally developed by Art Chickering and Zelda Gamson (1987), these "Principles of Good Practice for Undergraduate Education" were updated by Chickering and Stephen C. Ehrmann of the TLT Group, the Teaching, Learning, and Technology Affiliate of the American Association for Higher Education. The principles provide a solid basis for good pedagogy in a traditional as well as a technology-enriched learning environment.

Technology Tools for Today's Campuses

The articles are by educators who have integrated various forms of educational technology into their instruction.  The articles are arranged by subject area and type of information technology tool used.

This detailed and fully-illustrated PDF-readable manual was published by the United States Government Accounting Office as a service to educators and trainers who present and teach at a distance using video telecommunication technology. It can be read if your computer has Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on it (available from Adobe.com as a free download).
