The Faculty Advisory Council is pleased to feature from time to time an outstanding faculty member from one of Maryland's colleges or universities, one who exemplifies outstanding achievement in his or her field of expertise. The first faculty member to be featured is Professor Michael Glaser of St. Mary's College, who in 2004 was named Maryland's Poet Laureate by Governor Robert Ehrlich.
